Introducing Letcombe Regis

The parish of Letcombe Regis is 1 mile south west of Wantage in The Vale of The White Horse and is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and much of the village is a Conservation Area. It is now in Oxfordshire but was originally in Berkshire prior to the 1974 boundary changes. The village looks out onto the Berkshire Downs and has around 700 residents.

Segsbury Camp (aka Segsbury Castle) is an Iron Age hill fort situated nearby on The Ridgeway.

The village has a small shop / coffee shop, a public house known as The Greyhound Inn and the Church of England parish church of St Andrew. In the centre of the village, close to the church, is a retirement community called Richmond Letcombe Regis. 

The Millennium Green is a much valued village green, offering a peaceful natural space to enjoy in the heart of the village. Bordered by the Letcombe Brook and planted with bulbs and wild flowers it provides the opportunity for year round enjoyment for everyone.
